Our Dentists

Kathy joined Riverfront Dental Care in 1988, where she is known for being caring and warmhearted. She earned her associate's degree in applied science and currently performs all duties of a dental hygienist, including prophylaxis (cleaning), taking X-rays, and dental-health education. She's proud to be part of a modern, up-to-date practice that treats a lot of wonderful patients. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys antiquing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She also loves college football; you can find her rooting for Clemson University on campus whenever possible. Go Tigers!

Known for her compassion and professionalism, Julie earned her dental hygiene degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, then received her local anesthesia permit through Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Julie joined the practice in 2001, where her job entails prophylaxis (dental cleaning), periodontal therapy and maintenance, patient education, and X-rays. She enjoys Riverfront Dental Care's beautiful setting and family-friendly environment and enjoys providing her patients with excellent care. Outside the office, she enjoys music, the beach and New York Giants football.

Friendly, warm, and gregarious, Sandy joined Riverfront Dental Care in 1998 as one of our dental hygienists. She earned her associate's degree in dental hygiene and believes strongly in educating patients on how to best attain and maintain excellent oral health. She also provides prophylaxis (cleanings), takes X-rays, and loves working with everybody. When not in the office, Sandy enjoys watching her son and daughter play sports, and she's an avid Yankees fan.

Joan joined Riverfront Dental Care in 2015 as a Registered Dental Hygienist with a certificate in local anesthesia. Her responsibilities include oral cancer screenings, evaluating periodontal health and patient education. Joan is kind, gentle and works hard to provide optimum care for our patients. Outside the office, Joan loves spending time with her husband and four sons. She also enjoys the outdoors, walking and tennis.

A supreme multi-tasker and the office's "goodwill ambassador," Roxanne has been a bubbly fixture in the office since 1987. She earned credentials in dental assisting (Certified Dental Assistant and Registered Dental Assistant) and radiology, and her varied responsibilities include assisting the doctors during procedures, sterilizing equipment, making temporaries, ordering supplies, stocking rooms, working on the computer, helping other staff members, and being a "mind reader." For Roxanne, every day is a rewarding experience when she's helping to make a difference in people's smiles. When not working, she enjoys shopping and gardening.

With certifications in radiology and dental assisting (Certified Dental Assistant and Registered Dental Assistant), Wendy assists the doctors during procedures, takes x-rays, sterilizes equipment, takes impressions for temporary crowns, scans patients for Invisalign, crowns and bridges, inserts temporaries, discusses concerns with patients, restocks supplies and more. She joined the practice in 2011 and enjoys working with the staff and interacting with patients. When not in the office she is busy helping with the family's local boat business and takes care of the house, family and pets. She has a husband and 2 children, who she enjoys going on trips and boating with. Known for her patience and friendliness, she also loves watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, attending concerts, going to kick boxing with her daughter and outdoor activities. A former Gymnast, diver and swimmer, Wendy likes to work out regularly.

A self-described perfectionist who works well with others, Melissa joined Riverfront Dental Care in 2011, where she assists the dentists during procedures, makes temporaries, sterilizes instruments, orders supplies, and works with the lab. Her credentials include Certified Dental Assistant and Registered Dental Assistant. Melissa thrives on patient interaction and enjoys performing her job to the best of her ability. Outside the office, she likes to work out, shop, and go to Mets games with her husband and son.

Optimistic and friendly, Camille joined Riverfront Dental Care in 2001, where she assists the dentists during procedures, makes temporary crowns, sterilizes equipment, and keeps the doctors on schedule. In addition to earning her associate's degree in business, Camille has certifications in chairside assisting (Certified Dental Assistant and Registered Dental Assistant), infection control, CPR, and radiology. She loves working with the nice patients and staff. When not at the office, she sings in her church choir and enjoys yoga, working out, and taking walks.

Known for her welcoming smile and outgoing personality, Melissa joined the Riverfront Dental Care team in 2014, where she assists the doctors during procedures, makes temporary crowns and sterilizes equipment. Her credentials include Registered Dental Assistant, CPR and Radiology. Melissa also makes financial arrangements and schedules appointments for patients. She is always willing to take that extra step to help out. Outside the office, Melissa enjoys spending time with family, camping, kayaking and the beach.

Betty began working at Riverfront Dental in 1996 and is known for her excellent listening skills and creativity. She is the friendly, front-desk person who welcomes patients, answers phones, schedules appointments, and coordinates new-patient visits. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with patients. Outside the office, she enjoys needlepoint and cross stitch and is an avid Yankees baseball fan.

Kim's sense of humor and bubbly personality keep patients and staff smiling. She has an associate's degree in fashion marketing and management and joined the practice in 2008. Her responsibilities include making financial arrangements and billing, scheduling and confirming appointments, and handling specialist referrals. Kim enjoys being with people, and loves the pleasant, family-like atmosphere at Riverfront Dental Care. Outside the office, Kim enjoys her family, friends, and her dog, Sasha.

As one of the first people they may encounter at the front desk, patients know Laurie for her smiling personality and easygoing nature. She joined our team in 2006, where her role entails insurance verification, claims processing, posting payments, and making financial arrangements. She thrives in an environment where everyone truly cares about the patients and each other. Outside the office, Laurie enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and decorating.

Lisa graduated with a bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising and worked as a Buyer in the Fashion Industry. At Riverfront she uses her design, marketing and analytical skills to build brand awareness by monitoring trends in all social media aspects. Lisa loves spending time with family, going to the beach and baking delicious desserts for friends and family to enjoy.
